Formosan Brothers Attorneys-at-Law and Full Wang International Development Co., Ltd. cooperated in providing a series of educational training workshops for Full Wang’s employees to strengthen their professional knowledge in marketing and sales, land development, and engineering practices and enhance the operational efficiency of each department of the company. The speakers for the workshop on June 18, 2020 were Ms. Snow Wang and Jia-Ying Hsieh of Formosan Brothers. They illustrated the potential issues in a construction project from the contract-signing phase to the contract-performance phase. Topics covered include valuation, construction payment dispute, project duration, change of terms of contract, acceptance and payment, warranty, etc. During the training, the speakers introduced the regulations, construction practices, and jurisprudence related to each issue by an easy-to-understand Q&A format. The speakers also analyzed cases to help the construction performance administrative personnel grasp the key points of each issue quickly and be able to implement risk control from their understanding of possible disputes in a construction project. The workshop was well acclaimed by the participants.
