September 10, 2018 to September 13, 2018, on behalf of the Taiwan Patent Attorneys Association, Yvonne Y.F. Lin, Esq. (Managing Partner) and Chi-Che (Al) Tung, Patent Engineer, of Formosan Brothers Attorneys-at-Law, visited London and Paris, meeting with the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA), the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA), Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC), as well as Compagnie Nationale Conseils en Propriété Industrielle (CNCPI), and the Patent and Trademark National Office (INPI, French PTO). Aside from discussions of various recent practical cooperations, Ms. Lin and Mr. Tung jointly hosted a conference with the patent attorneys and patent lawyers from the U.K. and France, covering the relevant Taiwan IP legal system and its latest practical developments.
