On February 21, 2019, Ms. C.H. Chen, Managing Partner of Formosan Brothers and Ms. Terry Tu, Senior Consultant of Formosan Brothers, were invited by the Securities and Futures Institute to be lecturers of Fubon Securities’ in-service training for their investment banking staff. The topic was “The Impact on Corporate Governance and Directors and Supervisors’ Responsibilities from the Latest Amendment of the Company Act.” Using an extensive number of cases, Ms. Chen and Ms. Tu explained the reasons and purposes of this amendment, together with many case analyses to expound the legal principles and concepts. Their Q and A session induced a lively discussion among the participants.
