On March 25 & 26, 2022, Wei-Han Kuo, Partner of Formosan Brothers, was invited by the National Applied Research Laboratories as a speaker for the session on “Understanding Intellectual Property Rights” in the 2022 Seminar of NARLabs Medical Device Alliance. Using cases as examples, Mr. Kuo introduced various rights of intellectual property such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and how to protect those rights. The session made the participants gain a further understanding of intellectual property rights. Through sharing his experiences and interaction by Q&A, the participants were able to have a more complete and clearer concept of the intellectual property rights system and learn how to use their intellectual property rights actively and effectively at the same time.
